We are excited to have you participate in a holiday weekend on
the island chock full of some very, hairy, fun events!
The Aloha Bears announce LeiBear Weekend 2011!
Slated for September 2nd – 5th, we have
prepared activities throughout Waikiki to help surround you with the
beauty of our
A few additions this year makes 2011 even better!
For starters we have added another event, the Post Picnic
Party at Wang Chung’s Karaoke Bar, Monday Sept 5th,
following the BearBQ Luau.
A great hang out filled with LOTS of Bear Hugs & Roars!
The Sunset Catamaran is one of our HUGE events over the weekend
and often sells out fast not allowing everyone to get a chance to
enjoy the beauty of the island from an ocean view.
To accommodate, we refer you to Captain Carl and his
Sunday Catamaran that sails out of Tapa’s, Sunday Sept 4th
from 12:30 – 2:30.
You can purchase tickets from any bartender @ Tapa’s.
We also encourage you to check out Captain Carl’s website,
www.rainbowguideofaloha.com if you would like to learn about
more events or plan a tour of the island.
And for those of you planning to stay on the islands a bit
longer, The Aloha Bears will also plan to sail on our monthly Bear
Boat, held every 2nd Sunday of each month on Sept 11th.
We will be paying special tribute to the anniversary of
those who lost their lives on this day 10 years ago.
Membership with the Aloha Bears does have its privileges!
We would like to encourage you to purchase a membership
with The Aloha Bears for an Annual Fee of $20 ($30 for couples
living at the same residence).
All Members receive a set of Bear Tags commemorative to
the year of membership (2012).
Not only does Membership practically pay for itself when
participating in Leibear events ($5 OFF discount for the Sunset
Catamaran and FREE entrance to all other LeiBear events), You also
get updates from the Aloha Bears via e-mail and weekly discounts on
bear events throughout the year.

Our official check in event for the weekend, this social function
will allow us to Meat and GRRReet in the Lizard Lounge at Tapa’s
where you will “get Lei’d and receive a swag bag filled with gifts
and local information about our islands.
Meaty Pupu’s (Hawaiian for FOOD!) provided and Jagermeister
will be on site with promotions.
Bear Wear/Shirt from you Local Bear club are highly
encouraged.

Sunset Catamaran
Online Sales for the Sunset Catamaran have been shut down as we have
approached waiting list status
You may contact

if you are interested in being put on the waiting list or would like
to participate in the monthly Catamaran that sets out of Tapa's
Lanai bar on Sunday, Sept 4th from 12:30 - 2:30. Cost for the
Sunday Catamaran is $20.00 and includes a FREE Well or Draft
Cocktail at Tapa's upon return.
